Sleep apnea is due to the retraction of the mandible which causes the closing off of your air passages. This is caused by poor dentistry. When a dentist equilibrates your teeth (puts that paper in your mouth after a filling and has you grind your teeth together and then files them down) he does it in the RUM (rear-most, upper-most, mandibular) reclining position, your mandible is slack and retracted. Because you are awake you are able to hold the surrounding muscles in such a way as to keep your airways open. However, when you go to sleep all your muscles relax and your mandible falls back to fit the position in which your dentist fixed your teeth to rest, effectively closing off your airway. That is why a mouth guard works to fix the problem; it prosthetically pushes the mandible forward to open your airway. The way to cure this problem rather than treat it is to go to the dentist and ask him to re-equilibrate your teeth in an upright position.

​​​​​​​​Anti-Inflammatory Ginger Turmeric Tea Recipe
For 1 cup of water use 1 teaspoon each of fresh grated turmeric and ginger roots. If you use ground turmeric and ginger, use 1/3 teaspoon each. Add raw honey to taste, and a slice of lemon if you want.

In order to increase turmeric absorption in the body (studies have revealed that turmeric has low absorption and rapid metabolism that lead to relatively low bioavailability in the body), once the tea is ready, you need to add a little bit of fat to the tea, such as a teaspoon of coconut oil or flaxseed oil for example.
